Even though the answer surprised him slightly, he didn’t show it as he rather kept his face smiling. “Well, I doubt you won’t find someone, because with your personality and visual, I’m sure you will soon,” he murmured, but still nodded at what the other said next. He felt the same way, but he himself had a good reason to fear of remaining alone; his idol life wasn’t making it any easier to meet people that would like him for who he is, not for his fame and money.

”Well then… What do you want to know?” he asked and thanked the waiter for the new glass of wine before he took a sip. “I’m not sure on what to tell you. Though I’m glad you didn’t see those things, yeah. I hate them sometimes…” he murmured and then sighed heavily before he shrugged. “Other than that I’m from China, I come from a small middle-class family. I always loved music and my family always supported me in that, and so I started performing early already. I moved to Korea few years ago to pursue my dream… And I do miss my parents and friends back at home a lot.”

He kept from rolling his eyes. “Oh please. I’m not saying I’m ugly because I know I’m not, but there isn’t exactly a line of people waiting to date me because of my looks,” he said with a soft laugh. “I’ll accept the compliments though, thank you.” He smiled warmly. He wasn’t used to getting compliments at all, so he didn’t really know how to react to them. Hopefully though, he didn’t sound even lamer than he must have before.

Nodding slowly, he listened eagerly to what Yixing was saying. “China? That explains your name– You don’t have much of an accent though,” he said. “It’s good that your family supported you, because mine didn’t.” He leaned his cheek in his hand, looking at Yixing. “Do you like it here? I mean, is it exciting or fun or what? I’ve always wondered what foreigners thought of it. I myself have never traveled out of the country, so I have nothing to compare to.”
